Dee Product

Terms of Service

Dee Product is one person's studio site. Use it, poke around, send me ideas. These terms exist so we both know where we stand — they're short, and I've tried to write them in plain English rather than to win an argument.

The short version

By using Dee Productyou’re agreeing to what’s below. If you don’t agree with something here, the honest answer is to not use the site — but I’d rather you emailed me and told me why.

These terms are between you and Deepakkrishna R, an individual operating as Dee Product. There’s no company, no support desk, and no team — just me.

What this site is

Dee Productis a personal studio site: a showcase of things I’ve built, plus an open notebook of ideas in progress. It’s not a shop, and nothing here is sold to you.

The products I build — Reelic, Copy Cat and Next Door — live on their own sites and have their own terms. These terms cover Dee Product itself, not those products.

No account needed

There’s nothing to sign up for and no password to forget. Where you give me your email — to follow along, or because an idea caught you — that’s a mailing list, not an account. You can be removed from it by asking.

Ideas you send me

This is the clause worth reading properly, because it protects both of us.

  • You keep your idea. Sending me a message doesn’t transfer ownership of anything. It stays yours.
  • What I can do with it. You give me permission to read it, store it, reply to it, and use it to decide what to build. If I want to quote you publicly, I’ll ask first.
  • It isn’t confidential. A message sent through a public idea board isn’t a secret and I can’t treat it as one. Please don’t send me anything genuinely sensitive or commercially confidential. If you need an NDA, email me and we’ll do it properly instead.
  • I may already be on it. Ideas collide honestly and often. If I ship something resembling what you sent, that doesn’t mean I took it, and sending me an idea doesn’t entitle you to payment, credit or a share of anything I build.
  • Send only what’s yours to send. Don’t send me someone else’s confidential information or work you don’t have the rights to.

What I ask of you

Short list. Don’t:

  • Break the law with it, or use it to harm, harass or impersonate anyone.
  • Attack the site — probing for vulnerabilities, brute-forcing the admin area, flooding it with traffic, or trying to reach data that isn't yours.
  • Scrape it at a volume that costs me money, or hammer the API with automated requests.
  • Fake engagement — inflating heart counts, or submitting signups that aren't real people.
  • Upload anything malicious, or anything designed to break someone else's browser.

Found a security flaw? Please tell me at deepakkrishnar1618@gmail.com before telling anyone else. Report it in good faith and I’m grateful, not litigious.

What's mine

The design, code, writing, brand name and logo of Dee Productare mine, and are protected by copyright and trade mark law. You can look at all of it, link to it, quote it with credit, and learn from it — that’s the point of publishing.

What you can’t do is pass it off as yours, republish it wholesale, or use the Dee Product name and mark in a way that suggests I made or endorsed something I didn’t.

Things break

The site is provided “as is”. Much of what’s here is an experiment — ideas get abandoned, features get pulled, and pages change without warning. I don’t promise the site will be available, uninterrupted, error-free, or that anything on the ideas board will ever get built.

Nothing here is professional advice, and I don’t warrant that information on the site is accurate or current — it’s a notebook, and notebooks go stale.

Where my liability ends

To the extent the law allows, I’m not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, lost data, or lost business arising from your use of the site.

I’m not excluding anything that can’t legally be excluded — that includes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, and for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

If you’re using this site as a consumer, nothing in these terms removes the statutory rights you have under the consumer law of the country you live in. Those rights win over anything written here.

Links out

The site links to other places — my own projects, my profiles on other platforms, videos hosted elsewhere. Once you follow a link you’re on someone else’s territory, under their terms and their privacy policy. I don’t control those, and a link isn’t an endorsement.

Ending things

You can stop using the site whenever you like, and ask me to delete your data on the way out — see the Privacy Policy.

I can block access or remove submissions if someone is abusing the site. Given it’s a personal site with no accounts, that’s about as dramatic as this gets.

Changes to these terms

I may update these terms as the site changes. The date at the top says when they were last touched, and using the site after a change means the new version applies. If a change is significant I’ll make it obvious rather than sneak it in.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes will be handled by the courts of England and Wales.

If you’re a consumer resident elsewhere, this doesn’t deprive you of the protection of the mandatory laws of your own country, or of your right to bring a claim there.

If any part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest of it still stands.
